Warranties and UPC Client Service Agreements
Material exchange warranties are only available on products that are directly purchased or supplied by UPC. If a client provides any material, nothing they provide will come with any form of material exchange or install warranty. Our material exchange warranty includes no labor warranty coverage.

Plumbing Clogs and Back Ups (1)
We can not provide a warranty with any clog. As a client might be putting items not recommended into the waste system.
If sewage clean up is to take place to make a job accessible and safe. We will do the basics to make the situation workable, but we are not a waste clean up company and will not clean up large quantities of live waste during or after a clog is worked on.

When sewage overflows do occur, and we have to make the situation workable. This time is billable. Regardless of the original estimation given these situations quickly change the original scope of work. This laborious process can quickly increase the cost of any plumbing clog related service.

Plumbing clogs can be tied to more complex issues as well. Pipes do crack, bow, or sink. It can be hard to determine if these issues are the case. A camera snake sometimes can verify this, but snaking will occur first, regardless. Cameras can not always see/reveal or access everything due to obstructions and hard turns. The possible issues that can happen with a pipe beyond a clog prevent a warranty from being available with a system clog.

Depending on the circumstances. We do not use a sewer camera unless requested by the client. We also by choice do not use a camera until the second or third clog service with a client. This is to help ensure that we keep the costs as affordable as possible for the client. A clog can come back in a short period of time, sometimes though a septic tank will need to be pumped. Again, also, sometimes a line could be bowed, cracked, sunken, or obstructed by roots etc.

If a client does live on a septic system. There is a solid chance we can clear a clog in the house, or even in the yard. But if the client is unaware of how long it has been since the tank was pumped or cleaned. There is absolutely no way we can guarantee that clearing that clog will be permanent on the first or second visit. Especially without the use of a camera. If the client does not ask about a camera we will not automatically involve the use of one.
Septic Service
If a client has a house sewage back up and lives on a septic tank system. The cause is not always a septic tank. We do however recommend the client should call a septic pump service company. Especially if they do not know when the tank was last pumped, and every system is different. 1 year, 5-6 years, 10 years, or even 20 years.
Special Circumstances (1)
If we install, repair, replace, or maintain an item or system and something tied to that new material is documented as being rusted or corroded, having irregularly high or low water pressure, discolored water, improperly supported or improperly installed. This also includes frayed wires or irregular voltage to a electrically powered device. Our item will not come with any form of initial 30 Day material exchange warranty.
Special Circumstances (2)
If a client has an issue with the materials we as a company installed, repaired, replaced, or maintained. We will work to make it right but at a cost. We do not provide a labor warranty of any kind.
Why We Do Not Include Labor Warranties (1)
- Unforeseen Complications: Plumbing systems can be complex, and unexpected issues may arise after the initial work is completed. A labor warranty could expose us as a company to liability for issues that were not immediately apparent or present during our initial service, or the issues could be outside the scope of the original repair.
Why We Do Not Include Labor Warranties (2)
- Customer Misuse or Lack of Maintenance: If a problem arises due to customer negligence or lack of routine maintenance, the supply house basic 30 day warranty could be invalidated.
Why We Do Not Include Labor Warranties (3)
- DIY or Third-Party Repairs: If a customer or another plumbing company interferes by inspecting or diagnosing the original work, it will immediately invalidate the work completed by UPC and any form of material warranty originally provided to the customer is immediately void.
Preexisting Materials
- If we as company make a repair and that material or purchased item(s) is attached to an item or material that is not replaced/purchased by us and was preexisting during our service those items the were already there those items will not be included in any form of warranty.
Chargebacks and Refunds
- Our company has a 0 chargeback and refund policy due to the above listed scenarios. Any client that initiates a chargeback is liable for a chargeback penalty fee once the case is closed. Regardless of outcome. This is similar to a restocking fee.
